''Del mio meglio n. 5'' is a compilation album by Italian singer Mina released in May 1979. Overview The album contains tracks Mina recorded between 1972's " Altro" and 1977's "Mina con bignè". The version of ''L'abitudine (Daddy's Dream)'' featured here is an alternate version of the same title on Mina con bignè (1977). This is the first compilation disc to contain this alternate version. Mina Anna Maria Mazzini (born 25 March 1940) or Mina Anna Quaini (for the Swiss civil registry), known mononymously as Mina, is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress. ''Mina®'' is a studio album by Italian singer Mina, released in 1974 by PDU and distributed by EMI Italiana. Originally distributed as a double album along with ''Baby Gate''. The album topped the Italian albums chart. Cover versions Some of the songs of this album were recorded in different languages by Mina during the 1970s. In 1975, she recorded "Due o forse tre", "Nuur" and "Distanze" in Spanish ("Dos o acaso tres", "Nuur", " Dostancias"), as well "Tutto passerà vedrai" ("Todo pasara veras"). The same first three songs were covered in French one year later (as "Deux peut-être trois", "Lumière", "Ensemble"), as well "Caravel" ("La chiromancienne") and "Solo lui" ("Rien que vous"). Biography Nuccio Rinaldis is best known in Italian pop music business for being lead sound engineer of Italian singer Mina (Italian singer), Mina for several years. Rinaldis's work can be traced in almost the singer's complete discography, both albums and singles from 1967 onwards, with the many hits he was involved in, first at Carlo Alberto Rossi's Fonorama Studio and later, for more than 10 years since the founding of PDU (record label), PDU, at the La Basilica Studio in Milan, owned by Mina herself. It should be mentioned that it was thanks to the test recording proposed by Rinaldis, that the record ''Mina Live '78'' was made and released as a double album.
