Del Rio (Spanish: ''Del Río'', meaning "Of The River") is a census-designated place (CDP) in Stanislaus County, California, United States that is located around the ''Del Rio Country Club''. The population was 1,270 at the 2010 census, up from 1,168 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Modesto Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Del Rio is located at (37.746449, -121.011604). Harry Del Rios (born September 17, 1972) is an American professional wrestler. Rios is best known as the Spellbinder and Phantasio from WWE, but he has competed under many other ring names during his career. Professional wrestling career United States Wrestling Association (1993-1995) Del Rios' first prominent wrestling role was in the United States Wrestling Association. He debuted there on September 13, 1993. Los del Río (, "Those from the River"), also known as The Del Rios, are a Spanish Latin pop and dance duo which was formed in 1962 by Antonio Romero Monge (17 February 1948) and Rafael Ruiz Perdigones (10 November 1947). They are best known for their hit dance single "Macarena", originally released in 1993. The song went on to become a worldwide success. Rebekah Del Rio (born 10 July 1967) is an American singer/songwriter and actress from Chula Vista, California. The San Diego Union-Tribune voted Del Rio one of the "Top 10 Singers in San Diego", after which she moved to Los Angeles in 1989 to further develop her career. After recording the song "Llorando", a Spanish-language version of Roy Orbison's "Crying", she moved to Nashville in 1994. There, she was signed to Irving Azoff's label, Giant Records, and recorded her first album, ''Nobody's Angel''. The title track was released on a compilation album and made it to No. 2 on the singles charts in the Netherlands. Paloma del Río Cañadas (born 4 April 1960) is a Spanish journalist. She covers rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, figure skating, and equestrian competitions for Televisión Española (TVE). She has held various positions in TVE's sports directorate – editor-in-chief (2009), director of sports programs (2009–2013), and currently coordinator of sponsorships and federations. Jack Louis Del Rio Jr. (born April 4, 1963) is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football as a linebacker at the University of Southern California before being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 1985 NFL Draft. He also played for four other NFL teams before retiring in 1996. Del Rio began his coaching career as an assistant with the Saints in 1997.
