''Deified'' is a solo studio album by American rapper Keak da Sneak. It was released on February 19, 2008 via AllNDaDoe/Koch Records. Production was handled by David "Mozart" Korkis, Traxamillion, CHOPS, Droop-E, The Slapboyz and DJ Vlad. It features guest appearances from Paul Wall, Bra-Hef, Celly Cel, Chingo Bling, Clyde Carson, Daz Dillinger, E-40, Lil' Keke, Lil' Retro, Matt Blaque, Messy Marv, Mistah F.A.B., Prodigy, San Quinn, Scoot, The Alchemist, The Jacka, Too $hort and Yaberation. Charles Kente Williams (Birth name, né Bowens; born October 21, 1977), better known by his stage name Keak da Sneak, is an American rapper from Oakland, California, Oakland, California, known for his scratchy, gruff voice and for coining the term ''hyphy'' in 1994. Early life, family and education Keak da Sneak was born in Brewton, Alabama, Brewton, Alabama. As a newborn he moved to Oakland, CA. Keak found popularity while attending Allendale Elementary School, which he parlayed into later friendships and talent show performances at Oakland's Bret Harte Junior High. Dominick Newton (August 12, 1977 – February 2, 2015), better known by his stage name The Jacka, was an American rapper from Pittsburg, California. The Jacka began his career as part of the rap group Mob Figaz. He was killed in a shooting in Oakland, California, on February 2, 2015. The murder is currently unsolved. Marcus Lakee Edwards (born March 29, 1976), better known by his stage name Lil' Keke, is an American rapper and original member of the Southern hip hop collective Screwed Up Click. Biography Music career Lil' Keke gained national attention with his track "Southside" from his 1997 release "Don't Mess Wit Texas". In 2005, Lil' Keke signed to Swishahouse Records.
