Deian Sorescu
Deian Cristian Sorescu (; born 29 August 1997) is a Romanian professional association football, footballer who plays as a winger (association football), winger or a full-back (association football), full-back for Ekstraklasa club Raków Częstochowa and the Romania national football team, Romania national team. A youth player of FC Politehnica Timișoara, Politehnica Timișoara until its dissolution in 2012, he started his senior career with the two entities which asserted the history of the defunct team—ACS Poli Timișoara and ASU Politehnica Timișoara. In 2018, Sorescu left the latter to sign for FC Dinamo București, Dinamo București, amassing over 120 matches in the Liga I, top flight before moving abroad to Raków Częstochowa four years later. He won three domestic trophies in Poland, and in the 2023 winter transfer window returned to Romania on loan at Dinamo's Eternal derby (Romania), city rivals FCSB. Transfer Window
A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks. The 2017–18 Liga II (also known as 2017–18 Liga II Casa Pariurilor) was the 78th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 5 August 2017 and ended on 2 June 2018. A total of 20 teams contested the league. It was the second Liga II season with a single series. The season was played in a round-robin tournament. The first two teams promoted to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed team played a play-off match against the 12th-placed team from Liga I. The last five teams relegated to Liga III. The 2015–16 Liga I (also known as Liga 1 Orange for sponsorship reasons) was the 98th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season began 10 July 2015 and ended on 29 May 2016, being the first to take place since the play-off/play-out format has been introduced. FC Steaua București were the defending champions for a third consecutive time, but they did not retain the title. Astra Giurgiu became winners for the first time in their history. The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions.
