David Mamievich Degtyarev (russian: Давид Мамиевич Дегтярёв; born 12 June 1996) is a Kazakhs, Kazakh Paralympic powerlifter. He won the gold medal in the men's 54 kg event at both the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan and the 2021 World Para Powerlifting Championships held in Tbilisi, Georgia. Career In 2017, he finished in 7th place in the men's 54 kg event at the 2017 World Para Powerlifting Championships, World Para Powerlifting Championships held in Mexico City, Mexico. Vasily Alekseyevich Degtyaryov (russian: Васи́лий Алексе́евич Дегтярёв; 2 January 1880, Tula – 16 January 1949, Moscow) was a Soviet and Russian engineer who specialized in weapons design. Tamara Vasilyevna Degtyaryova (; 29 May 1944 – 9 August 2018) was a Russian stage, television and film actress. In 1979, she received the State Prize of the USSR for her role in the television series ''Eternal Call''. In 2005 she was made a People's Artist of Russia. Early life Degtyaryova was born in Kaliningrad (present-day Korolyov, Moscow Oblast), in 1944. Her parents were factory workers and as Degtyaryova was ill as a child, her mother stopped work to look after her.
