Defensor La Bocana
Defensor La Bocana is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Sechura, Piura, Peru. History In the 2013 Copa Perú, the club classified to the Regional Stage, but was eliminated by Willy Serrato in the semifinals. In the 2014 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage, but was eliminated by Sport Loreto in the semifinals. In the 2015 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage and were made champions by defeating Cantolao 4-3 on aggregate. With the win, Defensor La Bocana qualified directly to the top flight of Peruvian football the Torneo Descentralizado in 2016. Their first season in the Torneo Descentralizado was also their last to date. Defensor La Bocana finished 16th in the overall table and was relegated to the Peruvian Segunda División for 2017. Academia Cantolao
Academia Deportiva Cantolao is a Peruvian football club based in the city of Callao, Peru. However, the club is mostly known for its youth academy. Their football academy is considered one of the best in Peru. Academia Cantolao has educated many players who have gone on to play in the Torneo Descentralizado (Peruvian top-flight) and abroad, including many Peruvian international players. The Peruvian football league system is a complex system. Though the general outline includes the Liga 1, Liga 2 and Copa Perú. The Copa Perú is very large involving several stages and leagues within it. In addition, the Copa Perú is played within a year. Ligas Superiores Del Peru
The Ligas Superiores was one of two leagues that formed part of the Departamental Stage in the Copa Perú of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) football league system. The other league at level was the Ligas Departamentales. A transcendental step was given in the Copa Perú with the official establishment of the Ligas Superiores which did not become as successful as expected. Format The Ligas Superiores were composed of a select group of clubs of each department. The champion and runner-up from each league automatically qualifies to their department's Liga Departamental. History The Ligas Superiores were officially created in 2009. In 2009, nine the Departmental Federations determined to adopt them: Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Huánuco, Lambayeque, Pasco, Piura, Puno and Tumbes. The Liga 2 (Ligue 2) of Peru is the second-highest division in the Peruvian football league system. It is a professional and promotional division organized by the Peruvian Football Federation. After years of changing numbers of clubs, as of 2021 the league includes 12 clubs. History The format of the Second Division has changed over the years. For decades after it was first formed in 1936, only clubs from the Lima Region, Department of Lima participated in the annual tournament. 2015 Copa Perú
The 2015 Peru Cup season ( es, Copa Perú 2015), the largest amateur tournament of Peruvian football, started in February. This edition has featured a change, with the elimination of the Regional Stage and the inclusion of participants from all the Regions of Peru in the National Stage. Under the new format, the tournament has four stages. The first three stages are played as mini-league round-robin tournaments, and the fourth stage is played under POT System intellectual property of the MatchVision company. The 2015 Peru Cup started with the District Stage ( es, Etapa Distrital) in February. The next stage was the Provincial Stage ( es, Etapa Provincial) which started in June. Sechura
Sechura is a city in northwestern Peru, south of Piura. It is the capital of Sechura Province in the Piura Region. The city lends its name to the Sechura Desert The Sechura Desert is a coastal desert located south of the Piura Region of Peru along the Pacific Ocean coast and inland to the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
