Dedy Yon Supriyono
Dedy Yon Supriyono (born 14 August 1980) is an Indonesian politician who is the Mayor of Tegal, Central Java, serving since 2019. Early life Supriyono was born in Brebes Regency on 14 August 1980, the son of a successful local entrepreneur Muhadi Setiabudi. Career Between 2009 and 2014, Supriyono served in the legislature of Brebes Regency, where he was deputy speaker. Supriyono was a member of Central Java's Provincial Council as part of the Democratic Party's faction in the 2014–2019 term, though he ran as Tegal's mayor during his tenure. In the election, he won with 38,091 votes, and he was sworn in on 23 March 2019. Tegal (city)
Tegal is a city in the northwest part of Central Java of Indonesia. It is situated on the north coast (or ''pesisir'') of Central Java, about from Semarang, the capital of the province. It had a population of 239,599 at the 2010 Census and 276,734 at the 2015 Census. Its built-up (''or metro'') area made up of Tegal Municipality and 12 districts spread over Tegal and Brebes Regencies was home to 1,366,858 inhabitants as of 2010 census. It is administratively separate from Tegal Regency, which borders it to the south and east; Brebes Regency borders it to the west. Nursholeh (22 August 1957 – 23 August 2020) was an Indonesian politician who served as Mayor of Tegal between 2017 and 2019. Early life Nursholeh was born on 22 August 1957 in Tegal, where he completed his education up until he graduated from high school in 1977. He later also pursued higher education in the city, obtaining a bachelor's in education on 1996. Career After graduating from high school, Nursholeh found a job in Jakarta as a planning consultant where he worked for 5 years, and he spent 1 year working as a road surveyor in Bali. By 1987, he was a member of Golkar, and by 2009, he was the chairman of Golkar's branch in his hometown, alongside being elected as a member of the city council. In 2013, he ran as the running mate of Siti Masitha Soeparno in Tegal's mayoral election and the ticket won 45.02% of the votes (49,434 votes).
