''Decídete'' is the third album released by Mexican singer Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri. It was released in 1983. There are two versions of this song. The original version was deemed too explicit as it contained suggestive lyrics referring to a teenage couple's first sexual encounter, so it was replaced with more tender lyrics about teenage romance. Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri (born 19 April 1970) is a Puerto Rican-born Mexican singer, often referred to as ''El Sol de México'' (The Sun of Mexico), which is the nickname his mother gave him as a child—"mi sol". Luis Miguel has sung in multiple genres and styles, including pop songs, ballads, boleros, tangos, jazz, big band, and mariachi. Luis Miguel is also recognized as the only Latin singer of his generation to not cross over to the Anglo market during the "Latin Explosion" in the 1990s. Luis Gallego Sánchez (28 June 1945 – 9 December 1992), known professionally as Luisito Rey, was a Spanish singer-songwriter and music executive, best known as the father and first manager of Mexican singer Luis Miguel. Early life Luisito Rey was the son of Rafael Gallego Rey, a flamenco singer turned electrician, and Matilde Sánchez Repiso, a singer and dancer. His siblings are Vicente, nicknamed Tito, and Mario. "Yummy Yummy Yummy" is a song by Arthur Resnick and Joey Levine, first recorded by Ohio Express in 1968. Their version reached No. 4 on the U.S. Pop Singles chart in June and No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart. It has since been covered by many artists. Joey Levine (born May 29, 1947) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer of pop music, who has been active since 1966.
