She represented her nation Belgium at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has currently competed under an annual contract for CyclelivePlus-Zannata Women's Team. Decroix qualified for the Belgian squad, as a lone female cyclist, in the Cycling at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Women's road race, women's road race at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing by finishing among the top 24 and receiving a berth from the 2008 UCI Women's Road World Cup, UCI World Cup. Beginnings Soan left home at 17 over family discords and traveled a lot as a singer to earn his living but without notable success. He also sang at Paris Metro underground train stations.
