''Decision to Leave'' () is a 2022 South Korean romantic mystery film produced, co-written and directed by Park Chan-wook. It stars Tang Wei and Park Hae-il. In April 2022, the film was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, where Park Chan-wook won Best Director. ''Decision to Leave'' was released theatrically on 29 June 2022 in South Korea. It was selected as the South Korean entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards, making the December shortlist. It was also named one of the top 5 international films of 2022 by the National Board of Review. Park Chan-wook ( ; born 23 August 1963) is a South Korean film director, screenwriter, producer, and former film critic. He is considered as one of the most prominent filmmakers of South Korean cinema as well as world cinema in 21st century.
