Deborah Feyerick
Deborah Feyerick is an American journalist and National Correspondent for CNN and CNN International. Early life Deborah Feyerick spent her early childhood in France and UK before moving to the United States. Feyerick grew up in New Jersey and moved to Manhattan to attend Barnard College of Columbia University where she graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and where she later received the Young Alumna Award. During college Feyerick worked at NBC News, NBC as a news assistant. After graduation she went to work for Conde Nast as a researcher at GQ Magazine, leaving to travel on her own for a year through Europe, North Africa, Asia Minor, Eastern Europe, the Soviet Union and Middle East. Barnard College
Barnard College of Columbia University is a private women's liberal arts college in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. John Walker Lindh
John Philip Walker Lindh (born February 9, 1981) is an American convicted felon who was captured as an enemy combatant during the United States' invasion of Afghanistan in November 2001. He was detained at Qala-i-Jangi fortress, used as a prison. He denied participating in the Battle of Qala-i-Jangi, a violent uprising of the Taliban prisoners, stating that he was wounded in the leg and hid in the cellar of the Pink House, in the southern half of the fort. He was one of 86 of the estimated 400 prisoners to survive the uprising, in which CIA officer Johnny "Mike" Spann was killed. Brought to trial in United States federal court in February 2002, Lindh accepted a plea bargain; he pleaded guilty to two charges and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was released on supervision on May 23, 2019, for a three-year period of supervised release. Boston Marathon Bombing
The Boston Marathon bombing was a domestic terrorist attack that took place during the annual Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013. Two terrorists, brothers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, planted two homemade pressure cooker bombs, which detonated 14 seconds and apart at 2:49p.m., near the finish line of the race, killing three people and injuring hundreds of others, including 17 who lost limbs. Three days later, on April 18, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released images of two suspects. They were later identified as the Tsarnaev brothers, who were Chechen Kyrgyzstani-Americans. The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting occurred on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, United States, when 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people. Twenty of the victims were children between six and seven years old, and the other six were adult staff members. Earlier that day, before driving to the school, Lanza shot and killed his mother at their Newtown home. As first responders arrived at the school, Lanza died by suicide, shooting himself in the head. James Joseph "Whitey" Bulger Jr. (; September 3, 1929 – October 30, 2018) was an American organized crime boss who led the Winter Hill Gang in the Winter Hill neighborhood of Somerville, Massachusetts, a city directly northwest of Boston. Cheshire, Connecticut, Home Invasion Murders
On July 23, 2007, Steven Hayes and Joshua Komisarjevsky home invasion, invaded the residence of the Petit family in Cheshire, Connecticut, Cheshire, Connecticut. Though initially planning only to rob the house, she and Komisarjevsky murdered Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her two daughters, 17-year-old Hayley Petit and 11-year-old Michaela Petit. Their father Dr. William Petit escaped with severe injuries. Upon entering the Petits' home, Komisarjevsky beat Dr. Petit with a baseball bat and the pair restrained him in the basement.
