Debbie Corum
Deborah Corum is the current director of athletics for Southern Utah University. She previously served as assistant athletic director for Stanford University from 1994 to 1996, as an associate athletic director at Louisiana State University from 1996 to 2000, as an associate athletic director at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2016, and as associate commissioner of the Southeastern Conference from 2000 to 2012. An athletic director (commonly "athletics director" or "AD") is an administrator at many American clubs or institutions, such as colleges and universities, as well as in larger high schools and middle schools, who oversees the work of coaches and related staff involved in athletic programs. Although technically in charge of all of the coaches, they are often far less well-compensated and also less famous, with few having their own television and radio programs as many coaches now do. The ''New Haven Register'' is a daily newspaper published in New Haven, Connecticut. It is owned by Hearst Communications. The Register's main office is located at 100 Gando Drive in New Haven. The University of Connecticut (UConn) is a public land-grant research university in Storrs, Connecticut, a village in the town of Mansfield. The Southern Utah Thunderbirds are the varsity athletic teams representing Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah in intercollegiate athletics. The university sponsors seventeen teams including six men’s sports: basketball, cross country, football, golf, and track and field and nine women's sports: basketball, cross country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball. Southern Utah University (SUU) is a public university in Cedar City, Utah. Founded in 1897 as a normal school, Southern Utah University now graduates over 1,800 students each year with baccalaureate and graduate degrees from its six colleges.
