Sheer Heart Attack
''Sheer Heart Attack'' is the third studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 8 November 1974 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records in the United States. Digressing from the progressive themes featured on their first two albums, the album featured more pop-centric and conventional rock tracks and marked a step towards the "classic" Queen sound. It was produced by the band and Roy Thomas Baker, and launched Queen to mainstream popularity in the UK and throughout the world. The album's first single "Killer Queen" reached number 2 in the British charts and provided the band with their first top 20 hit in the US, peaking at number 12 on the ''Billboard'' singles chart. "Dear Friends" is Soulhead's fifteenth single and has been the last single they have released to date. It was released on January 24, 2007 and charted at #60 on Oricon, staying on the charts for four weeks. Information ''Dear Friends'' was released in a CD only edition. Both the title track and the B-side, "Feel Like Jumping", made it to the corresponding album, ''Best of Soulhead,'' along with their music videos. Both songs were written and arranged by Yoshika and Tsugumi. The title track was used as theme song for the film '' Dear Friends''. The film featured Keiko Kitagawa and Yuika Motokariya. Dear Friends (radio Program)
''Dear Friends'' was a live radio program performed by the Firesign Theatre on KPFK radio in Los Angeles. Twenty-one episodes aired between September 16, 1970 and February 17, 1971. These programs were recorded and later edited into one-hour shows distributed on 12" LPs for national syndication. In January 1972, the group released a '' Dear Friends'' double album, a compilation of what they considered to be the best segments from the radio program. The original broadcasts were released in 2010 on the group's ''Duke of Madness Motors'' DVD compilation. Another album distilled from the ''Duke of Madness Motors'' set, ''Dope Humor of the Seventies'', which also collected material from the ''Dear Friends'' radio shows, was released in 2020.
