Deanna Milligan
Deanna Milligan (born January 1, 1972, Vancouver, Canada) is a Canadian actress. She has appeared in numerous Canadian and American films and television shows. Career Milligan had a major role playing Dave Thomas' daughter in ''The Beachcombers'' and related television films, including ''The New Beachcombers'' and '' A Beachcombers Christmas''. She was the mystery woman in the Canadian independent short film '' Shoes Off!''. She also costarred in the A&E TV movie '' Karroll's Christmas'' playing the girlfriend to Tom Everett Scott. Milligan also played the assistant to Santa Claus in the film '' Must Be Santa''. She was a regular on two short lived television shows: '' Northwood'', where she played the troubled teen Jennifer, and ''Big Sound'', where she played the bubbly assistant Jesse Polt to Greg Evigan. David William Thomas (born May 20, 1949) is a Canadian actor, comedian and television writer. He is best known for being one half of the duo Bob and Doug McKenzie with Rick Moranis. He appeared as Doug McKenzie on '' SCTV'', for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award out of two nominations, and in the film ''Strange Brew'' (1983), which he also co-directed. As a duo, they made two albums, ''The Great White North'' and ''Strange Brew'', the former gaining them a Grammy Award nomination and a Juno Award. His other notable acting credits include ''Stripes'' (1981), ''Love at Stake'' (1987), '' Moving'' (1988), ''Coneheads'' (1993) and ''Rat Race'' (2001). ''Corner Gas'' is a Canadian television sitcom created by Brent Butt. The series ran for six seasons from 2004 to 2009. Re-runs still air on CTV, CTV2, CTV Comedy Channel, Much, MTV, E! and are streaming on Crave and Amazon Prime.
