Dean Trippe
Mayday "Dean" Trippe is a United States-based comic book artist and illustrator. ''Comic Book Tattoo '' is an Eisner award and Harvey Award–winning comics anthology, anthology graphic novel made up of fifty-one stories, each based on or inspired by a song by American singer-songwriter Tori Amos, published by Image Comics in 2008. Rantz Hoseley, longtime friend of Amos, served as the book's editor. Together, Hoseley and Amos gathered eighty different artists to collaborate on the book. ''Comic Book Tattoo'' includes an introduction by another longtime friend of Amos, Neil Gaiman, creator of ''The Sandman (Vertigo), The Sandman'' series. AdHouse Books was an independent comic book publisher based in Richmond, Virginia. It was founded in 2002 by graphic designer Chris Pitzer. AdHouse was known primarily as a publisher of graphic novels, beginning with 2002's '' Pulpatoon: Pilgrimage'', traditional comic book series, and art books, including James Jean's '' Process Recess''; The company announced on July 14th 2021 that it would cease publications after its 101st book. The company would then take 2022 to visit as many shows, conventions, festivals, etc., as they could. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is a Left-wing politics, left-wing Democratic Socialists of America#Tendencies within the DSA, multi-tendency Socialism, socialist and Labour movement, labor-oriented political organization. Evolutionary biology is the subfield of biology that studies the evolutionary processes (natural selection, common descent, speciation) that produced the diversity of life on Earth. It is also defined as the study of the history of life forms on Earth. Evolution is based on the theory that all species are related and they gradually change over time. In a population, the genetic variations affect the physical characteristics i.e. phenotypes of an organism.
