Dean Terlich
Dean Terlich (born 13 December 1989) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the club with draft pick 68 in the 2012 national draft. He made his debut in round 2, 2013, against at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, in the match where Melbourne were defeated by 148 points. Terlich was previously recruited by the Sydney Swans in the 2008 rookie draft from the Murray Bushrangers. Terlich was recruited from the Osborne Cats (country NSW Hume League club) prior to playing with the representative team the Murray Bushrangers. He was delisted at the end of the 2008 season without playing an AFL game. Terlich moved to Adelaide and played for Norwood in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), where he won the Jack Oatey Medal as the best on ground in Norwood's 12.7 (79) to 3.12 (30) win over West Adelaide in the 2012 SANFL Grand Final. Norwood Football Club
Norwood Football Club, nicknamed the Redlegs, is an Australian rules football club competing in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) in the state of South Australia. Its home ground is Coopers Stadium (Norwood Oval), which is often referred to as "The Parade". Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Medal
The Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Trophy is an Australian rules football award presented annually to the player(s) adjudged the best and fairest at the Melbourne Football Club throughout the Victorian Football League/Australian Football League (VFL/AFL) season. The Melbourne Football Club was established in 1858 and was a foundation member of the Victorian Football Association, playing in the league from 1877 to 1896. After the formation of the Victorian Football League in 1896, Melbourne joined the league as a foundation club the next year and has competed in the league ever since. The inaugural Melbourne best and fairest winner was Allan La Fontaine in 1935, and he retained it the following season. The 2016 AFL season was the 120th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured eighteen clubs, ran from 24 March until 1 October, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs. Thirty-four players, seventeen of whom were still active in the league, missed the season through suspension by the World Anti-Doping Agency, for doping infringements which occurred at the Essendon Football Club as part of its 2012 sports supplements program. The Hills Football League (HFL) is an Australian rules football league, situated in the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia, to the south east of the state capital Adelaide. The League has over 3000 players belonging to 20 member Clubs. The League's Clubs are divided into two playing Divisions - Division 1 (Formerly Central Division - mostly the larger towns in the Hills region); - Division 2 (Formerly Country Division - the remaining clubs in the region). The Uraidla Districts Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide which was formed in 1997 as a merger between the former Uraidla Football Club and Eastern Rangers Football Club.
