Dean And Britta
Dean & Britta is a musical duo consisting of Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips, both former members of Luna. Wareham had formed Luna in 1991 after leaving his first band, Galaxie 500. Phillips joined Luna in 2000, replacing bassist Justin Harwood. History Their first album started out as a Wareham solo project, but when he heard Phillips' demos, he asked her to join him. ''L'Avventura'' was produced by Tony Visconti and released on Jetset Records in 2003, under the name "Britta Phillips & Dean Wareham". After hearing the album, Peter Kember (a.k.a. Sonic Boom) fell in love with it and did a remix mini-LP, ''Sonic Souvenirs'', also released on Jetset Records. After Luna broke up in 2005, Dean & Britta spent the next year working on film scores, most notably for Noah Baumbach's movie, ''The Squid and the Whale'', and promoting the documentary film of Luna's farewell tour ''Tell Me Do You Miss Me''. Tell Me Do You Miss Me
Luna is an American rock band formed in 1991 by singer and guitarist Dean Wareham after the breakup of Galaxie 500. Described by ''Rolling Stone'' as "the best band you’ve never heard of," Luna combine intricate guitar work, traditional rock rhythms, and poetic lyrics. The earliest edition of the band also included drummer Stanley Demeski and bassist Justin Harwood (Demeski formerly of The Feelies and Harwood formerly of New Zealand band The Chills). The original line-up was expanded with the addition of guitarist Sean Eden for their second album, 1994's ''Bewitched''. The Cure are an English Rock music, rock band formed in 1978 in Crawley, Crawley, West Sussex. Vincent Moon (real name Mathieu Saura, born 25 August 1979) is an independent filmmaker, photographer, and sound artist from Paris. He was the main director of the Blogotheque's Take Away Shows, a web-based project recording field work music videos of indie rock related musicians as well as some notable mainstream artists like Tom Jones, R.E.M., or Arcade Fire.
