Dealer Healer
''Dealer/Healer'' is a 2017 Hong Kong-Chinese action crime drama film directed by Lawrence Ah Mon and starring Sean Lau, Gordon Lam and Jiang Yiyan, with special appearances by Louis Koo and Zhang Jin. The film is based on the story of former Hong Kong triad member, Peter Chan's recovery from drug addiction. Chan, who is portrayed in the film by Lau, served as one of the producers of the film. It was released in China on 12 May 2017 and in Hong Kong on 18 May 2017. Plot During the 1960s-70s in Hong Kong, when the police were corrupt and triads ruled the city, it was the glorious days for Chan Wah ( Sean Lau), La Ba ( Gordon Lam), Kitty ( Zhang Jin) and their brothers. Lawrence Ah Mon
Lawrence Ah Mon or Lawrence Lau Kwok Cheong (劉國昌) (born 1949) is a Hong Kong film director. His films are notable for their lurid exploration of the problems of the poor in modern Hong Kong, such as ''Gangs'' (1986), ''Spacked Out'' (2000), ''Gimme Gimme'' (2001) and ''City Without Baseball'' (2008). He has also made several films about colonial and postcolonial subaltern history in Hong Kong, such as the ''Lee Rock'' series (starring Andy Lau) and ''Queen of Temple Street'' (1990). Patrick Tam (actor)
Patrick Tam (; born 19 March 1969) is a Hong Kong actor and singer. Career He first set foot into the entertainment industry after winning the 1988 New Talent Awards in Hong Kong alongside another notable Hong Kong singer, Sammi Cheng who was second runner-up. Pak Tam Chung
Pak Tam Chung () is an area in the southern part of the Sai Kung Peninsula in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It is administratively under the Sai Kung District. Features Pak Tam Chung was described as consisting of six villages in 1911 with fewer than 405 inhabitants: Wong Yi Chau (village), Wong Yi Chau (), Pak Tam (), Sheung Yiu (), Tsak Yue Wu (), Wong Keng Tei () and Tsam Chuk Wan. The six villages were all inhabited by Hakka people, with the exception of two hamlets in Pak Tam. There is a visitor centre for nature education set up by the Government of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Government. Near the centre is a vehicle barrier leading to the restricted portion of Sai Kung East Country Park in Pak Tam Chung. For vehicles, only those with authorisation can enter the area and reach places like Hoi Ha, Pak Tam Au and High Island Reservoir. Nora Miao
Nora Miao () (born Chan Wing-man (); 8 February 1952) is a Hong Kong film actress. She is best known for appearing in many kung fu films in the 1970s, opposite Hong Kong action movie stars such as Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. Background Chan Wing-man was born in British Hong Kong. She attended St. Teresa's School Kowloon. She was contracted to Golden Harvest, and spent her time making films in Hong Kong and in Taiwan, where she starred in several romance movies. Miao worked well with Ko Chun-hsiung and was paired with him in several movies. She played opposite both Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. Miao appeared in all three of Bruce Lee's Hong Kong films, and became the only actress to share an on-screen kiss with Lee in ''Fist of Fury''.
