The following is a list of episodes from the American television series ''Walker, Texas Ranger''. A total of 203 episodes aired from April 21, 1993, to May 19, 2001. The original broadcast of the series had the first four episodes that aired at the end of the 1992–1993 television season as season 1, and subsequently identified the remaining seasons as 2-9. Despite this, the DVDs combine the first two seasons as season 1, not distinguishing the first four episodes as a separate season. Walker, Texas Ranger
''Walker, Texas Ranger'' is an American action fiction, action Crime drama, crime television series created by Leslie Greif and Paul Haggis. It was inspired by the film ''Lone Wolf McQuade'', with both the film and the series starring Chuck Norris as a member of the Texas Ranger Division. The show aired on CBS in the spring of 1993, with the first season consisting of three pilot episodes. Eight full seasons followed with new episodes airing from September 25, 1993, to May 19, 2001, and reruns continuing on CBS until July 28, 2001. It has been broadcast in over 100 countries and spawned a 2005 television film entitled ''Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire, Trial by Fire''. Anthony Charles Mordente Jr. (December 3, 1935 – June 11, 2024) was an American actor, dancer, choreographer, and television director. Early life and career Born in Brooklyn, the son of a beer truck driver, Mordente went to dance school at the age of thirteen. He attended the High School of Performing Arts and won a scholarship to the American Ballet Theater School. There, he was discovered by the choreographer Michael Kidd, who cast him as Lonesome Polecat in the 1956 Broadway musical adaptation of the Al Capp comic strip ''Li'l Abner''. Richard Norton (6 January 1950 – 30 March 2025) was an Australian martial artist, actor, stunt performer, stunt coordinator, security consultant and fight choreographer. He held a 5th ''dan'' Black Belt in Gōjū-ryū karate, a 6th D''an'' Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, an 8th D''an'' Black Belt in Chun Kuk Do, and a Level 6 ranking in American Kickboxing. A bounty hunter is a private agent working for a bail bondsman who captures fugitives or criminals for a commission or bounty. The occupation, officially known as a bail enforcement agent or fugitive recovery agent, has traditionally operated outside the legal constraints that govern police officers and other agents of the state.
