Dead Loretta
Dead Loretta was a Psychedelic rock band from Newark, Delaware. Formed in 2004, Dead Loretta got its start when songwriters Danny Boles and Marky Degz decided to expand their acoustic duo project "Bruce Lee's Grave" into a four-piece rock band. Heavily influenced by 1960s British Invasion and local pop heroes The Spinto Band, the original lineup consisted of Degz on lead vocals/guitar, Boles on lead guitar/vocals, Brian Lafferty on bass/harmonica, Andrew Kerstetter on drums, and Alex McGrellis on keyboards. History Dead Loretta played its first show in June 2005 at My Place Tavern in Dover, opening for the band She Slash He. Later that same year, the group released an EP entitled ''Bring A Date''. The five song disc included a jangly pop number called "Miranda", which caught the ear of Vanstock Records owner Dwight Lyghtning, who immediately signed the band. Littl'ans are an England, English alternative rock band, who have had marginal success. The Littl'ans consist of Andrew Aveling on vocals/guitar, Alex Mahood on lead guitar, Ryan Blagrove on bass and Ben Clarke on drums/vocals. They supported Babyshambles on their autumn 2005 tour, alongside playing other dates with them in 2006, and embarked on their own NME, Club NME tour nationwide in the late months of 2005. They released a Single (music), single with Pete Doherty titled "Their Way" on 17 October 2005. Written by Aveling, Doherty liked the song so much he asked to sing on it. Smashing Orange was an American band formed in 1990. They released three albums before splitting up in the mid-1990s. Their early sound saw them classified as shoegazing. History The band was formed by siblings Rob and Sara Montejo, with Rick Hodgson, Steve Wagner, and Tim Supplee, all of whom worked together in a local record store, and had left or dropped out of college prior to forming the band. When Lush played at The Marquee Club in London, Smashing Orange provided the support, unfortunately Sara was unable to enter the UK as she was under 16, so the band played their European tour as a four-piece. The Brian Jonestown Massacre is an American musical project and band led and started by Anton Newcombe. It was formed in San Francisco in 1990.
