Carlo de' Vecchi (1611 – 13 March 1673) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served as Titular Archbishop of ''Athenae'' (1667–1673) and Bishop of Chiusi (1648–1657).Gauchat, p. 155. Biography Carlo de' Vecchi was born in Siena, Italy in 1611. He held the degree of ''Doctor in utroque iure'', and was a Referendary of the Tribunal of the Two Signatures. He was ordained a priest in December 1647. In 1644, he served as governor of Faenza. On 2 March 1648, he was appointed Bishop of Chiusi by Pope Innocent X. On 15 March 1648, he was consecrated bishop by Bernardino Spada, Cardinal-Priest of San Pietro in Vincoli, with Alfonso Maurelli, Archbishop of Cosenza, and Giovanni Francesco Passionei, Bishop of Pesaro, serving as co-consecrators. He served as until his resignation on 12 March 1657. On 27 April 1667, he was appointed Titular Archbishop of Athens (Greece) by Pope Clement IX. Cesare Maria De Vecchi, 1st Conte di Val Cismon (14 November 1884 – 23 June 1959) was an Italian soldier, colonial administrator and Fascist politician. Biography De Vecchi was born in Casale Monferrato on 14 November 1884. After graduating in jurisprudence he became a successful lawyer in Turin. His stance on the First World War was interventionist, and he himself took part in the final events of the conflict, finishing the war with the rank of captain and various decorations for valor. On his return to Italy he gave his support to the National Fascist Party, in which he would consistently represent the monarchical and 'moderate' wing. Giovanni de' Vecchi (1536, Sansepolcro – 1614) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. Born in Borgo San Sepolcro, He first apprenticed with the painter Raffaello del Colle, then with Taddeo Zuccari, whom he assisted in the interior decoration of the Villa Farnese at Caprarola, a major work in the Mannerist aesthetics. He also has paintings of the ''Life of St. Jerome'' in Ara Coeli which he painted for the Delfin family, and in In the cupola of the Gesu, he painted the ''four doctors of the church (Gregory, Ambrose, Jerome, and Augustine)''. The mosaics for the tribune of St. Peter's basilica with St. John and St. Luke are based on his cartoons. He also contributed to the frescoes in the Roman Oratorio del Santissimo Crocifisso.
