De Lux
De Lux is an American post-disco musical duo from Los Angeles, consisting of Sean Guerin and Isaac Franco. Guerin and Franco began creating music together at the age of 15. , the group is signed to Innovative Leisure. The band released their first album, ''Voyage'', in 2014. It was praised by Paul Lester as not having "a bad track". In 2015, ''Generation'' was released and the group promoted the album through appearances in the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Panorama Fest in New York City. Their song "Moments" was featured in the 2015 film ''Paper Towns''. Innovative Leisure is a Los Angeles-based record label founded in 2010 by Nate Nelson, Jamie Strong, and Hanni El Khatib. Its genre-spanning roster is anchored by artists including BADBADNOTGOOD, Classixx, De Lux, Hanni El Khatib, Nick Waterhouse, and Tijuana Panthers. Notable alumni include garage rock bands Allah-Las, Bass Drum of Death, and The Buttertones, Thai psych rock ensemble Khun Narin, and producers Nosaj Thing and Jim-E Stack. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly called the Coachella Festival or simply Coachella) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. It was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999, and is organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents. Classixx is an American electronic music record production and DJ duo, based in Los Angeles, composed of Michael David and Tyler Blake. History Tyler Blake and Michael David, childhood friends, started a DJ duo in the suburbs of Los Angeles. The name Classixx came from their liking of classic compilations of different music.
