De Grote Sprong (''The Great Leap'') is a Flemish reality television series broadcast on VTM. The program is based on the ''Celebrity Splash!'' format created by Dutch company Eyeworks. In each episode, six celebrities perform dives after being trained by professionals Hassan Mouti, Tanya Ilieva, and Steve Black. The dives are judged by a panel consisting of Frans van de Konijnenburg, Anna Bader, and Frédérik Deburghgraeve. The program is hosted by Evi Hanssen and Kürt Rogiers. Pole vaulting, also known as pole jumping, is a track and field event in which an athlete uses a long and flexible pole, usually made from fiberglass or carbon fiber, as an aid to jump over a bar. Véronique De Kock (born 3 April 1977 in Antwerp, Belgium) is a Belgian business owner, television presenter and beauty pageant titleholder. Biography Career At the age of 15, De Kock was already a model in Belgium, France, Germany and Italy. She has been featured on the covers of the magazines '' P-Magazine'', '' Ché'', and ''HUMO''. When she was 17, she won the title of Miss Flanders and one year later she won the prestigious title of Miss Belgium 1995. She competed at Miss World 1995 and Miss Universe 1996 but failed to place in the top 10 in both pageants. In 2013 she was a contestant in the VTM-program De Grote Sprong, a diving contest. Nailpin is a Belgium, Belgian band (music), band. History After Belgian singles "Endless Conversations", "Movin' On" and "Together", from their debut album '12 TO GO' which was released in May 2004, Nailpin made their international debut. Their performance at the 2004 TMF Awards (Belgium), TMF awards caused Avril Lavigne to ask them to open for her on her Japan tour. At the end of September 2005, the band took part in MTV's Road Rally, in which they had to cross the USA from West coast to East Coast, earning their way and scoring shows. After starting in Los Angeles they ended up just beating Dutch competitor Di-rect in New York. The series was aired from November to January, gathering viewers attention. The second Nailpin album "White Lies & Butterflies" was released in April 2006, while the band toured Japan for the second time. Sean Dhondt (born 13 February 1984) is a Belgian musician and presenter. He became known as the singer of the Belgian pop punk group Nailpin from 2001 until 2009 and as a video jockey on channels TMF and JIM. He has also been the lead vocalist of the Manoeuvres (2014–2019) and a presenter on VTM and Qmusic. Biography Music Sean Dhondt started his career as musician in 2003 as a drummer of Belgian punk band Nailpin. He became the new lead vocalist of the group in 2006 after the departure of Niko Van Driessche. That year Nailpin released their second album. The single "They Don't Know" (first recorded by Kirsty MacColl in 1979 and later, in 1983, a hit for Tracey Ullman), released in 2007, peaked at number 6 in the Belgian Ultratop 50.
