A ''de excommunicato deliberando'' is a writ which issued out of chancery to release a prisoner from the county jail after the bishop had certified the prisoner's reconciliation with the Church, following his arrest and imprisonment under a writ de excommunicato capiendo. The Writ De Excommunicato Capiendo Act 1562 (5 Eliz. 1. c. 23) was an Act of the Parliament of England. The whole Act was repealed by section 87 of, anSchedule 5to, the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Measure 1963.
