De Cock Late Night
De Cock Late Night, also called DCLN, was a Belgian talk radio show on the Flemish radio MNM presented by Tom De Cock Tom De Cock (born 23 September 1983 in Schoten) is a Flemish radio DJ, television host and writer. At the age of 16 he published his first novel "De Openbaring" ("The Revelation"). Radio In 2008 he started as a radio DJ at the public radio s .... It was broadcast each Wednesday from 21.00 to 24.00 at night. The first episode aired on January 5, 2009. The final episode in June 2012. Until March 2010 the show was also broadcast on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Each episode one or two topics are discussed during the first hour of broadcast. From 23.00 on the show continues about a subject chosen from a pile list of suggestions. Most of the presentation was improvised, though "Sh*t On Tha Radio" and "Geen Nieuws om 23 uur met Tom De Cock" ("No News at 23 o'clock with Tom De Cock") were recurring items. MNM is a Belgian pop music radio station, launched in 2009, operated by the Flanders, Flemish public broadcaster Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroep (VRT). The station broadcasts in Flanders and Brussels on Frequency modulation, FM and can be heard in France and the Netherlands on border areas. History On 5 January 2009, Peter van de Veire launched the new radio station. On 8 March 2010, the MNM logo had a small modification, the black letter ''M'' became blue, and modernized its studio and website. Tom De Cock (born 23 September 1983 in Schoten) is a Flemish radio DJ, television host and writer. At the age of 16 he published his first novel "De Openbaring" ("The Revelation"). Radio In 2008 he started as a radio DJ at the public radio station Donna, where he covered the Saturday afternoon slot from 3 to 8 pm. One year later, the station was shut down and replaced by MNM, where De Cock had a late night talkshow called ''De Cock Late Night'', and a weekend programma named "Weekend De Cock". Since September 2012 De Cock has his own evening drivetime show "Planeet De Cock" ("Planet De Cock") from 4 to 7 pm on workdays. On MNM, Tom De Cock is also the face of a yearly contest for highschools, "De Strafste School". With his colleague Peter Van de Veire he co-hosted "Marathonradio" - a project in which both DJs made back-to-back 24h live broadcasts for 17 days in a row, to support students during their final exams - in 2013 and 2014.
