DeKalb County United
Dekalb County United is a semi-professional men's soccer club based out of DeKalb, Illinois. The team currently competes in the Midwest Premier League, and plays home games at the NIU Soccer and Track & Field Complex. History DeKalb County United was founded in 2017 by DeKalb area natives. The club was established in order to unite the communities of DeKalb County and surrounding areas through soccer. Though the club is relatively new to the area, its members, fans, and staff have been dedicated to making an impact both on the pitch, and in their local community. The club made an introduction to the local public when they held a jersey reveal party at a local bar and grille. NIU Soccer And Track & Field Complex
The NIU Soccer and Track & Field Complex is a multi-purpose stadium located on the campus of Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, Illinois, United States. The 1,500-seat stadium is home to the NIU men's and women's soccer and women's outdoor track and field teams. The complex was completed in 2008. Soccer The interior of the track houses the pitch for the NIU men's and women's soccer teams. The turf was built to the specification of FIFA 2-Star Certified Field Turf, meaning it is the highest quality artificial soccer surface available. Track and field The complex is equipped with an eight-lane track, which includes an eight-lane straightaway. The track surface is made with a state-of-the-art material that is nearly impermeable to damage from rain and snow. Croatian Eagles SC
Croatian Eagles Soccer Club ( hr, NK Hrvatski Orlovi) is an American soccer team that plays in the United Premier Soccer League. The club was established in 1922 by Croatian Americans, and is one of the oldest continuously run soccer club in North America. According to legend, the club was originally going to be named "NK Hrvatski Sokole" but the founders of the club were not able to translate "Sokole". The club's biggest rivals are the United Serbians Soccer Club and Milwaukee Bavarian SC. The club participated in the 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. They were champs of the Wisconsin Adult Soccer Association's Challenge Cup five times, from 1999 to 2003. The club is also a regular participant in the Croatian-North American Soccer Tournament which they have previously hosted 4 times and they last hosted in 2017. They have not won a tournament to date. Madison 56ers is an American soccer team based in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. Founded in 2005, the team plays in the United Premier Soccer League. Prior to the 2009 season the team was known as the Princeton 56ers. Since their inception the club has called Breese Stevens Field its home pitch. Milwaukee Bavarian SC is an American soccer team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. Bavarian Majors of the Bavarian Soccer Club compete in the United Premier Soccer League.
