DeHart Hubbard
William DeHart Hubbard (November 25, 1903 – June 23, 1976) was a track and field athlete who was the first African American to win an Olympic gold medal in an individual event: the running long jump at the 1924 Paris Summer games. He subsequently set a long jump world record of at Chicago in June 1925 and equaled the world record of 9.6 seconds for the 100-yard dash at Cincinnati, Ohio a year later. He attended and graduated from Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in 1927 where he was a three-time National Collegiate Athletic Association champion (1923 & 1925 outdoor long jump, 1925 100-yard dash) and seven-time Big Ten Conference champion in track and field (1923 & 1925 indoor 50-yard dash, 1923, 1924, & 1925 outdoor long jump, 1924 & 1925 outdoor 100-yard dash). James DeHart
James DeHart (August 25, 1893 – March 4, 1935) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Washington and Lee University from 1922 to 1925 and again from 1931 to 1932 and at Duke University from 1926 to 1930, compiling a career college football record of 51–50–6. In 1935, he signed a contract to become the head coach at Southwestern University—now known as Rhodes College—in Memphis, Tennessee, but fell ill and died while relocating. DeHart attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he played football for the Panthers from 1914 to 1916 and in 1918. Jarret DeHart
Jarret DeHart (born October 2, 1994) is an American professional baseball coach. He is the one of the hitting coaches for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). Playing career Raised in Medford, New Jersey, DeHart played prep baseball at Shawnee High School. He attended Louisiana State University his freshman year of college, playing college baseball for the LSU Tigers. After his 2014 freshman year, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He transferred to Howard College for his sophomore year of college. He then transferred to Tulane University for his final two years of college, playing for the Tulane Green Wave. Matt Paul DeHart (born June 11, 1984) is an American citizen and former U.S. Air National Guard intelligence analyst and a registered sex offender. He has made several unconfirmed claims, including that he received classified documents alleging the CIA was involved in the 2001 anthrax attacks in the United States and that the government used child pornography charges to frame him for possession of state secrets. In 2010, he was indicted for possession of child pornography and spent 21 months in prison while awaiting trial. After being released on bail in 2012, he unsuccessfully sought asylum in Canada, claiming he had been tortured by the FBI with regards to the classified documents. Tony DeHart (born March 20, 1990) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He last played competitively with HC Eppan Pirates of the then Serie A. DeHart was selected by the New York Islanders in the 5th round (125th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career DeHart played Junior Hockey in the Ontario Hockey League with the London Knights and Oshawa Generals. During the 2011-12 season DeHart played 46 games in the ECHL with the Stockton Thunder. On July 12, 2012, he was re-signed by Stockton for the 2012-13 season. On July 2, 2013, DeHart was one of the first three players signed by the expansion St. Charles Chill of the Central Hockey League.
