Conservatives.nl was a minor political party in the Netherlands that was founded by Winny de Jong and Cor Eberhard as a splinter party from the Lijst Pim Fortuyn (LPF). Both had been elected as MPs to the House of Representatives of the Netherlands in 2002. It was led by de Jong from 2002 to 2003. History DeConservatieven.nl was the result of a split from the Pim Fortuyn List. Winny de Jong and Cor Eberhard had been elected to parliament as MPs for the party in the 2002 Dutch general election. De Jong had been named by the party's leader Pim Fortuyn as his candidate to be the parliamentary faction leader of the LPF after the election. However, the LPF succumbed to infighting after Fortuyn was assassinated in the run-up to the election. De Jong left the party due to the internal disputes and founded a one-woman faction ''Group de Jong.'' Winny De Jong
__NOTOC__ Winny de Jong (born 9 October 1958 in Hazerswoude-Rijndijk) is a former Dutch politician. From 28 May 2002 till 30 January 2003 she was a member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands; at first for the Lijst Pim Fortuyn (LPF) and since October 2002 for the ''Groep De Jong''. Personal life & LPF Her family moved to Monheim am Rhein in Germany when she was four years old. In 1989 she moved back to the Netherlands and started a career as a photo model and actress. She became head of the Consumer and Quality of the Central Food Trade Agency, a position that regularly caused her to be at loggerheads with the farmers in the Netherlands, including Wien van den Brink, who later became her colleague in the LPF parliamentary faction. Cornelis Reindert (Cor) Eberhard (born 1947 in Amsterdam) is a former Dutch politician. From 28 May 2002 he was a member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands for the Lijst Pim Fortuyn (LPF) and from 2002 for ''Groep De Jong'' with fellow former LPF MP Winny de Jong. He later co-founded the '' DeConservatieven.nl'' party with De Jong. Michiel Smit (born 21 August 1976) is a former Dutch politician who was leader of Nieuw Rechts, a far-right political party. Political office Michiel Smit was elected to the Rotterdam city council in 2002 as a member of Leefbaar Rotterdam. In February 2003, he came into conflict with Leefbaar-Rotterdam leader Ronald Sørensen and decided to leave the party. After leaving, he founded a new party: Nieuw Rechts.
