Delmar Drew Arnaud (born May 25, 1973), known professionally as Daz Dillinger (formerly Dat Nigga Daz and commonly Daz), is an American rapper and record producer. In the 1990s at Death Row Records, aided the catapult of West Coast rap and gangsta rap into the mainstream. He is one half of the rap duo tha Dogg Pound, along with Kurupt. Daz learned production from Dr. Dre in working on Dre's debut solo album, ''The Chronic'', in 1992. Daz did more on Snoop Dogg's debut solo album ''Doggystyle'' in 1993, and secured his production standing on 2Pac's ''All Eyez on Me'' in 1996. Since leaving Death Row around 2000, Daz has focused on his own releases through his D.P.G. Recordz. ''So So Gangsta'' is the eighth solo studio album by American rapper Daz Dillinger. It was released on September 12, 2006 via So So Def/Virgin Records simultaneously with an instrumental album entitled ''So So Gangsta - The Album Sampler''. Recording sessions took place at Studio Atlantis and at the Crippin Kitchen in Los Angeles, at the Hit Factory Criteria and at Poe Boy Studios in Miami, and at SouthSide Studios in Atlanta. Production was handled by Jermaine Dupri, No I.D., Scott Storch and Daz himself, with LRoc, Ivan Johnson and Soopafly serving as co-producers. A release date for the album was planned for mid July 2009 to coincide with the release of the film '' Public Enemies'', of which the album is named after. The album ended up being released on August 11, 2009. Conception A recent video posted on Daz Dillinger's YouTube page promoting the album has Daz Dillinger stating that ''Public Enemiez'' is currently in production and will be his next solo album coming soon. Daz stated that the album will be 14 songs in length, with Daz producing the entire album including feature appearances from LaToiya Williams, Los & Nicole Wray.
