Perth
Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. It is the fourth most populous city in Australia and Oceania, with a population of 2.1 million (80% of the state) living in Greater Perth in 2020. Whiteman Park
Whiteman Park is a bushland area located north of Perth, Western Australia. The park is in the suburb of Whiteman, in the Swan Valley in the upper reaches of the Swan River. It encompasses the source of Bennett Brook - an important place of the Nyoongar people, and a source of mythology of the Wagyl and stories about Aboriginal occupancy of the area. Whiteman Park is known for its biodiversity, including more than 450 endemic plants and more than 120 vertebrate animals (some of which are rare and endangered). More than 17% of Western Australian bird species occur in Whiteman Park, including migratory birds attracted to the habitat provided by Bennett Brook and associated wetlands including Grogan's Swamp, a Conservation Category Wetland. Brabham is a suburb located about north-east of Perth's central business district. The suburb is located in the City of Swan just south of Henley Brook, formerly being a part of that suburb before it was gazetted in May 2011. The suburb was named after Australian motor racing personality Sir Jack Brabham who competed in the 1962 Australian Grand Prix, held at the nearby Caversham Airfield. West Swan is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the City of Swan local government area. It lies west of the Swan River, and east of the former Caversham Motor Racing Circuit. Caversham is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the City of Swan. It contains many wineries as part of the Swan Valley wine region. It is the location of brick and tile manufacturers, with Brisbane & Wunderlich establishing a tile manufacturing factory in 1953. It has long been associated with agricultural pursuits and has regularly had a show. It has also has been the location of child welfare properties such as Riverbank. Reid Highway
Reid Highway is a east-west highway and partial freeway in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, linking North Beach with Middle Swan. As part of State Route 3, it forms half of Perth's outer ring road along with Roe Highway, which it joins onto at its eastern terminus. The highway has many different speed limits and road conditions along its length, but is predominantly a four-lane dual carriageway with a speed limit. A section, between Erindale Road and Altone Road (which makes up just over half the highway’s length), is a continuous freeway. In conjunction with Tonkin Highway, it serves as an important arterial connection between Perth's coastal and eastern suburbs, industrial areas and Perth Airport.
