Dayanand Narvekar
Dayanand Ganesh Narvekar (Konkani language: दयानंद नावे॔कर), born on 11 February 1950, is an Indian politician from the state of Goa. He served as the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Goa from January 1985 to September 1989. He has also been the Finance Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister of Goa. Konkani Language
Konkani () is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by the Konkani people, primarily in the Konkan region, along the western coast of India. It is one of the 22 scheduled languages mentioned in the Indian Constitution, and the official language of the Indian state of Goa. It is a minority language in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Gujarat & Damaon, Diu & Silvassa. Konkani is a member of the Southern Indo-Aryan language group.
