Dayanand Mandrekar
Dayanand Rayu Mandrekar is an Indian politician from the state of Goa. He was a four term member of the Goa Legislative Assembly representing the Siolim constituency. Political career Dayanand Mandrekar was first elected to the Goa Legislative Assembly in the 1999 Goa Legislative Assembly election from the Siolim constituency as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He retained the Siolim in the 2002, 2007 and 2012 Assembly elections. He was disqualified in 2005 by the Bombay High Court for holding an office of profit and the conviction upheld by the Supreme Court of India, as a result of which Mandrekar lost his office. The Bharatiya Janata Party led by Manohar Parrikar formed the government in Goa in 2002 after the Goa Legislative Assembly. Laxmikant Parsekar
Laxmikant Parsekar (born Laxmikant Yashwant Parsekar; 4 July 1956) is an Indian politician who held the office of the Chief Minister of Goa, a state in India from 2014 to 2017. He was the member of the Goa Legislative Assembly from Mandrem constituency, and he belonged to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is currently an Independent politician. He was appointed the Chief Minister of Goa on 8 November 2014, replacing Manohar Parrikar. During the Goa Assembly Election in 2017, he lost from his seat of Mandrem. He resigned on 11 March 2017. Goa Forward Party ( GFP) is a regional political party in the western coastal Indian state of Goa, led by Vijai Sardesai. The GFP fielded four candidates in the 2017 Goa Assembly election and won three seats. North Goa District
North Goa district is one of the two districts that constitutes the state of Goa, India. The district has an area of , and is bounded by Kolhapur and Sindhudurg districts of Maharashtra state to the north and by Belgavi district of Karnataka to the east, by South Goa district to the south, and by the Arabian Sea to the west.
