Dawson Cram
Dawson Kevin Cram (born September 12, 2001) is an American professional stock car racing driver who last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 35 Ford Mustang for Emerling-Gase Motorsports, the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro for Mike Harmon Racing and the No. 13 Ford Mustang for MBM Motorsports. He has also competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series in the past. Racing career Early career In 2007, at the age of five, Cram started racing in Mini Dwarf race cars in his hometown at the time, San Diego, California. He later moved to Mooresville, North Carolina and started to race in the INEX Bandolero Series. After winning 13 times in Bandoleros, he made the move to legend cars in 2014. Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile, low-banked tri-oval race track located in Avondale, Arizona, near Phoenix. The motorsport track opened in 1964 and currently hosts two NASCAR race weekends annually including the final championship race since 2020. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars. Copp Motorsports was an American professional stock car racing team that competed in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. The team was owned by D. J. Pit Stop
In motorsports, a pit stop is a pause for refuelling, new tyres, repairs, mechanical adjustments, a driver change, as a penalty, or any combination of the above. These stops occur in an area called the pits, most commonly accessed via a pit lane which runs parallel to the start/finish straightaway of the track and is connected to it at each end. Along this lane is a row of garages (typically one per team or car) outside which the work is done in a ''pit box''. Legends car racing is a style of auto racing designed primarily to promote exciting racing and to keep costs down. The race car bodyshells are 5/8-scale replicas of American automobiles from the 1930s and 1940s, powered by Yamaha XJ1250, FJ1200 (both air-cooled) or, starting in 2018, FZ09 (water-cooled) engines.
