Rzeszów ( , ; la, Resovia; yi, ריישא ''Raisha'')) is the largest city in southeastern Poland. It is located on both sides of the Wisłok River in the heartland of the Sandomierz Basin. Tour of Yugoslavia ( sh, Kroz Jugoslaviju) was a stage road bicycle race held annually in SFR Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia. Launched in 1937, the race was held in 1938 and 1940 before interruption due to World War II. In 1947 the first post-war edition was held, and it continued to be organised every year until 2000. Although the race was an event for amateur cyclists during most of its history, it was opened to professional riders in 1998. The Szlakiem Walk Majora Hubala is a multi-day road cycling race held annually in Poland. Tour of Malopolska (Polish: ''Małopolski Wyścig Górski'') is an annual, professional men's multiple-stage cycling race in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Since 2005, it has been part of the UCI Europe Tour. History The race was first held in 1961 and is one of the oldest bicycle races in Poland. Zbigniew Piątek holds the record for the most victories with three, in 1989, 1998 and 2001. The race usually consists of three or four stages as well as a prologue. The prologue is usually organized at the Main Market Square in Kraków and the points won are included in the general classification. Most of the race consists of hilly or mountain stages.
