Davis Legacy Soccer Club is an American soccer club based in Davis, California, established in 1992, that began play in USL League Two in the 2022 season. As of 2023, they compete in the league's Nor Cal Division, in the Western Conference. The club describes their mission as to "''Provide the highest-levels of quality soccer training for players and enhance their social, emotional and physical health, in a positive and safe environment.''" History Soccer prior to 1989 existed in Davis primarily at the recreational level, run by the Davis chapter of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league features 113 teams for 2022, split into sixteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Ventura County Fusion are the current champions, having defeated Long Island Rough Riders 2–1 in the 2022 USL League Two Championship game on August 6, 2022. American Youth Soccer Organization
The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) is one of the two main national organizations in youth soccer in the United States for children aged 4 through 19. AYSO was established as a non-profit soccer organization in Torrance (a suburb of Los Angeles, California) at Jefferson Elementary School in 1964 with nine teams. Today the organization claims membership of over 50,000 teams, with over 630,000 participants. San Francisco Glens Soccer Club, commonly known as SF Glens, is an American soccer club based in San Francisco that was founded in 1961. Their men's first team currently competes in USL League Two and women's first team in the USL W League, both in the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid.
