Davide Petrella (born 6 August 1985), also known as Tropico, is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer, and lyricist. Life and career Born in Naples, Petrella started his career as founder and frontman of the band Le Strisce, with whom he recorded three albums. In 2014, he collaborated with Cesare Cremonini on the album '' Logico'', and since then he became one of the most requested songwriters in Italy. Francesco "Franco" Migliacci (born 28 October 1930 in Mantua) is a lyricist, producer, and actor. Biography He studied in Florence where his family had settled, here he entered in a competition for young players, in which he won a stay of three days to Cinecittà and a modest role in a film by Nino Taranto. After this, he moved to Rome and the world of cinema where he worked in small parts in about 18 films. Alberto Testa (11 April 1927 – 19 October 2009) was an Italian composer, lyricist, singer, and writer for television. Born at Santos, São Paulo, Brazil, he was known primarily for his work as a lyricist. His words were set by such songwriters as Tony Renis (such as "Quando, quando, quando" and " Grande grande grande") and Memo Remigi. Shirley Bassey and Mina are among the singers who performed his songs. Giulio Rapetti (born 17 August 1936), in art Mogol (), is an Italian music lyricist. He is best known for his collaborations with Lucio Battisti, Gianni Bella, Adriano Celentano and Mango (singer), Mango. Career Mogol was born in Milan. His father, Mariano Rapetti, was an important director of the Casa Ricordi, Ricordi record label, and had been in his own time a successful lyricist of the 1950s.
