Davide Pascolo
Davide Pascolo (born 14 December 1990) is an Italian professional basketball player for Assigeco Piacenza of the Italian Serie A2, second tier national league, on a loan contract from Aquila Basket Trento. At a height of 2.03 m (6'8") tall, his primary position is power forward, but he can also be used as a small ball center, if needed. Professional career Pascolo began his professional career with his home town team of Snaidero Cucine Udine, in the Italian First Division, in the 2008–09 season. Pascolo initially struggled to become a regular rotation player in the team. That continued even after the club was relegated to the Italian Second Division, where Pascolo played with the team for the 2009–10 and 2010–11 seasons. Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano, commonly known as Olimpia Milano or as EA7 Emporio Armani Milan after its title sponsor, is an LBA Italian professional basketball team, based in Milan, Italy. Its colors are white and red, and the team is sometimes referred as "Scarpette Rosse" (Little Red Shoes) because team officials imported red Converse All-Star shoes for players from the United States. The Italy men's national basketball team ( it, Nazionale di pallacanestro dell'Italia) represents Italy in international basketball tournaments. They are administered by the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP). The Italian Basketball Supercup ( it, Supercoppa Italiana di Pallacanestro), also known as Discovery+ Supercoppa for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball super cup competition. European Professional Club Basketball System

In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. In some leagues, playoffs or qualifying rounds are also used to determine rankings. In basketball, small ball is a style of play that sacrifices height, physical strength and low post offense/defense in favor of a lineup of smaller players for speed, agility and increased scoring (often from the three-point line).
