David Wolf (ice Hockey)
David Wolf (born 15 September 1989) is a German professional ice hockey player who currently plays for Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He played five seasons in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) for the Hannover Scorpions and Hamburg Freezers between 2009 and 2014 before moving over to North America. Internationally, Wolf has represented Germany at both the Germany men's national junior ice hockey team, junior and Germany men's national ice hockey team, senior levels. Playing career Wolf's first full season of professional hockey was the 2007–08 season. He appeared in 46 games for ETC Crimmitschau in the 2nd Bundesliga (ice hockey), 2nd Bundesliga, the second level of German hockey. Ice hockey tournaments have been staged at the Olympic Games since 1920. The men's tournament was introduced at the 1920 Summer Olympics and was transferred permanently to the Winter Olympic Games program in 1924, in France. The women's tournament was first held at the 1998 Winter Olympics. The Olympic Games were originally intended for amateur athletes. Martin Buchwieser (born May 28, 1989) is a German professional ice hockey forward who is signed with Löwen Frankfurt, a member of the DEL2. Playing career Buchwieser came through the youth ranks of SC Riessersee, before joining EHC München in 2008. He earned promotion to Germany's top-flight DEL with the team in 2010 and during that particular season already logged his first DEL minutes with Augsburger Panther. After his third season with EHC München, his first as captain in 2012–13, Buchwieser was released as a free agent and signed by Adler Mannheim on a two-year contract on April 12, 2013.
