David Tua vs Shane Cameron, billed as Fight of the Century was a boxing match between David Tua and Shane Cameron. This is considered the biggest boxing event in New Zealand history with a million dollar purse. It took place on 3 October 2009 at Mystery Creek Events Centre in Hamilton, New Zealand. Tua won the fight by knockout 20 seconds into the second round. The event was promoted by David Higgins and John McRae of Duco Events. A unanimous decision (UD) is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and other sports involving striking and submission in which all three judges agree on which fighter won the match. In boxing, each of the three judges keep score (round by round) of which fighter they feel is winning (and losing). This only includes landed blows to the head or the body. In MMA, judges look for different criteria such as kicks, take downs, punches, knees, elbows, cage control, submission attempts and aggression. The 2009 Samoa earthquake and tsunami took place on 29 September 2009 in the southern Pacific Ocean adjacent to the Kermadec-Tonga subduction zone.
