César David Texeira Torres (born 27 February 1991) is a Uruguayan professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward. Club career Defensor Sporting Texeira started his career playing with Defensor Sporting a top club in Uruguay, where he made his debut in the first team against Rampla Juniors on 30 February 2010. The Texas derby is a soccer rivalry (derby) between the Houston Dynamo FC and FC Dallas, recognizing the best club in the state for the season until 2021 when Austin FC joined MLS. The two squads play a series of games with the series winner taking home ''El Capitán'', a replica 18th century mountain howitzer cannon. Through the 2021 season, the series is tied, 8–8. The Houston Dynamo clinched the 2006 series with a win on August 12, 2006, and the 2007 series with a win on August 19, 2007. The Designated Player Rule, nicknamed the Beckham Rule, allows Major League Soccer franchises to sign up to three players that would be considered outside their salary cap (either by offering the player higher wages or by paying a transfer fee for the player).
