Most of his books on various aspects of military conflict have been written and published since he retired from active military duty in 2002, including several studies on the Prussian and German armies throughout the course of history: an area in which his particular expertise is today acknowledged both in the UK and abroad. He is a Member of the Society of Authors and of several other professional, literary and historical or heritage-related groups and organisations. David Stone (born November 20, 2005) is an American football defensive tackle for the Oklahoma Sooners. Early life and high school career Stone was born in Del City, Oklahoma and attended Del City High School for two years. As a freshman, he recorded 19 tackles and a sack playing in only six games behind an experienced defensive line for Del City. Before his sophomore year, Stone attended the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was named Defensive Line MVP. As a sophomore, he recorded 47 tackles and nine sacks and was named to '' The Oklahomans All-City First Team in 2021. In 2022, Stone transferred to IMG Academy and recorded 50 tackles, five sacks, and nine quarterback hurries as a junior and was later named to the MaxPreps Junior All-American. Stone specialises in the Road Race and Time Trial events, winning gold medals in both events at Paralympic and World Championship level. In the 2009 New Year Honours he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). Early life David was born in Birmingham in 1981. He started cycling aged 8, and competed in his first race aged 15, when he was spotted by the manager of the Great Britain team. Disability David suffers from cerebral palsy. David Kenneth Stone (born 29 December 1942) is a former professional footballer, who played 154 times in The Football League for Bristol Rovers and Southend United. He also played for and managed a number of non-League clubs following the end of his professional career. Career Stone was born in Bristol and attended Portway School in the city. He played as a child for Bristol Boys, and won the English Schools' Shield with them in 1958. He also played for Sneyd Park, before joining League side Bristol Rovers as a junior in 1959. He graduated through the Rovers junior and youth teams, and signed his first professional contract in March 1960, but it was a further two years before he made his first team debut against Northampton Town in August 1962. He went on to make 148 appearances and score six goals for ''The Pirates'' until leaving to join Southend United on a free transfer in 1968.
