David Sinclair (footballer, Born 1969)
David Sinclair (born 6 October 1969) is a Scottish former footballer who played in defence. Career Sinclair made most of his career appearances at Raith Rovers, where he picked up two Scottish First Division title medals, plus a League Cup winner's medal. After making over 175 league appearances for Raith, Sinclair failed to make even half that at a number of other clubs, retiring in 2001. After the League Cup victory Raith Rovers manager Jimmy Nicholl is quoted to have said "Even Davie Sinclair was crying and he's so tough he's got tattoos on his teeth". David Sinclair (footballer, Born 1990)
David Sinclair (born 23 July 1990, in Glasgow) is a Scottish footballer who plays for East Kilbride Thistle as a midfielder. Sinclair started his career with Livingston, and has also played for Ayr United, Airdrieonians, Clyde, Stirling Albion and Stenhousemuir. He has also played in Iceland for BÍ/Bolungarvík and Australia for Mackay Wanderers. Career Sinclair signed for Livingston aged 12. He helped the club win Second Division and Third Division championships. Sinclair left Livingston after the 2011–12 season. He signed for Ayr United on 20 June 2013. He signed for Airdrieonians in the summer of 2013, leaving the club in January 2014. After leaving Airdrieonians Sinclair signed for Icelandic club BÍ/Bolungarvík. David Sinclair is a fictional character in the crime drama series Numb3rs, portrayed by Alimi Ballard. Sinclair Community College is a public community college in Dayton, Ohio. History Sinclair Community College is named for David A. Sinclair, a Scottish immigrant and secretary of the Dayton YMCA (1874–1902), who founded the adult training school that eventually became Sinclair College in 1948. Sinclair Community College was featured in a 2009 issue of ''The New York Times''. The article explained how community colleges in the United States, like Sinclair, help to create jobs in an unstable economy. The article also stated that Sinclair is widely known as one of the best community colleges in the region. David Sinclair (born 24 November 1947) is a British keyboardist (organ, piano, harpsichord, electric piano, Mellotron, Davolisint, etc.) associated with the psychedelia/progressive rock Canterbury Scene since the late 1960s. Upton Beall Sinclair Jr. (September 20, 1878 – November 25, 1968) was an American writer, muckraker, political activist and the 1934 Democratic Party nominee for governor of California who wrote nearly 100 books and other works in several genres. Sinclair's work was well known and popular in the first half of the 20th century, and he won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1943.
