David Shakow
David Shakow (1901–1981) was an American psychologist. He is perhaps best known for his development of the Scientist-Practitioner Model of Clinical Psychology, Scientist-Practitioner Model (or ''Boulder Model'') of graduate training for clinical psychology, clinical psychologists, adopted by the American Psychological Association in 1949.Benjamin, Ludy. Psychologist
A psychologist is a professional who practices psychology and studies mental states, perceptual, cognitive, emotional, and social processes and behavior. Their work often involves the experimentation, observation, and interpretation of how individuals relate to each other and to their environments. Psychologists usually acquire a bachelor's degree in psychology, followed by a master's degree or doctorate in psychology.
