David Reece
David L. Reece is an American singer who has been active in the heavy metal rock scene professionally since the late 1980s, recording with several bands in diverse genres including Bonfire from January 2015 to July 2016. He is best known for his time with the band Accept, appearing on their 1989 album '' Eat the Heat''. Musical career Early years Reece was raised in Oklahoma, eventually moving to Minnesota and performing with major local rockers Dare Force in the early 1980s. He also recorded vocals in 1987 for a demo for the hard rock band Sacred Child. Although he was replaced by Astrid Young before recording their album, the demos were included on a re-release of their debut. With Accept After many auditions, Reece was chosen to be the new Accept singer, and was the lead vocalist appearing on the album '' Eat the Heat''. David Addison Reese
David Addison Reese (March 3, 1794 – December 16, 1871) was an American politician and doctor. Life Reese was born in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1794. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and began a medical practice in Elberton, Georgia. He later moved to Monticello, Georgia. Elected to the Georgia Senate in 1829, Reese was re-elected to that office in 1830, 1834, 1835, and 1836. He also served as a trustee for the University of Georgia in Athens for 25 years. Reese was elected to U.S. House of Representatives in 1852 as a member of the Whig party and served one term. David Meredith Reese (1800–1861) was an American physician and skeptic. Reese worked as a physician at the Bellevue Hospital until 1849. He was a skeptical of the many "isms" of his day. He had heavily criticized quackery in his book ''Humbugs of New York'' (1838). He was highly critical of phrenology. Dave Reece
David Barrett Reece (born September 13, 1948 in Troy, New York) is a retired American professional ice hockey goaltender who played the 1975–76 season with the Boston Bruins. He posted an NHL record of seven wins, five losses and two ties, with two shutouts and a 3.32 goals against average. Playing career Reece is known best for surrendering eleven goals against the Toronto Maple Leafs on February 7, 1976, which included six goals and four assists for Darryl Sittler, setting an NHL-record ten points in one game. He was in net as a replacement for starters Gerry Cheevers and Gilles Gilbert. Reece played the whole game and was never pulled by coach Don Cherry. The game was Reece's last NHL appearance. In international hockey, Reece served as Mike Curran's backup at the 1977 Ice Hockey World Championship tournament in Vienna. David Edward "Chip" Reese (March 28, 1951 – December 4, 2007) was an American professional poker player and gambler from Centerville, Ohio. He is widely regarded as having been the greatest cash game poker player. Early life Reese suffered from rheumatic fever during his years at elementary school and had to stay at home for almost a year. During this time, his mother taught him how to play several board and card games. Reese later described himself as "a product of that year." By the age of six, he was regularly beating fifth-graders at poker. In high school, he was a football player and was on the debate team, winning an Ohio State Championship and going to the National Finals. Reese attended Dartmouth after turning down an offer from Harvard. At Dartmouth, he became a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, played freshman football briefly, participated in debate, and majored in economics.
