David Penalva
David Penalva (born 26 January 1980 in France) is a Portuguese rugby union footballer. He plays as a lock. Penalva played for Nice, in the French Fédérale 1, for the 2010-11 season. He had 35 caps for Portugal, from 2002 to 2012, scoring 1 try, 5 points on aggregate. Penalva made his debut for the national side on 3 March 2002, in a 13-10 win over Spain, in Caldas da Rainha for the Six Nations B. Lock (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types. Caldas Da Rainha
Caldas da Rainha () is a medium-sized Portuguese city in the Oeste region, in the historical province of Estremadura, and in the district of Leiria. The 2007 Rugby World Cup was the sixth Rugby World Cup, a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. The Rugby Europe International Championships is the European Championship for tier 2 and tier 3 rugby union nations. The tournament is split into 5 levels, each with 5 or 6 teams. Its highest level is now called the Rugby Europe Championship and, unofficially, referred to as the Six Nations B.
