David Daniel Norman Jr. (born May 31, 1998) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Vancouver FC in the Canadian Premier League. Club career Whitecaps FC 2 Norman played one year of college soccer at Oregon State University in 2016, before signing his first professional contract with Whitecaps FC 2 on January 19, 2017. In May 2017, Norman was named to the Whitecaps roster for the 2017 Canadian Championship on a short-term contract. Norman would be named the player of the year for Whitecaps FC 2 upon conclusion of the 2017 season. Norman would spend one season with Whitecaps FC 2 before the club ceased operations after the 2017 season. The Canadian Premier League (CPL or CanPL; french: Première ligue canadienne, links=no) is a professional men's Association football, soccer league in Canada. At the top of the Canadian soccer league system, it is the country's primary national soccer league competition. Richmond Park is a football stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Situated in the Dublin suburb of Inchicore, it is the home ground of League of Ireland side St Patrick's Athletic F.C. (also known as St Pat's). The area where the ground now stands was formerly used as a recreational area by the British Army, who were stationed at the nearby Richmond Barracks, both named after Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond the barracks having since been demolished.
