David L. Englin
David Lawrence Englin (born August 15, 1974) was a state legislator in the Virginia House of Delegates through the 2012 session, and is the Interim Chief Executive Officer for the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region. Political career A Democrat, he was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in November 2005. From 2006 to 2012 he represented the 45th district, made up of parts of Arlington and Fairfax Counties and the city of Alexandria. He served on the Agriculture Chesapeake and Natural Resources, Finance, Health Welfare and Institutions, and Privileges and Elections Committees during his tenure. Englin resigned his seat in the Virginia House effective August 31, 2012 after admitting to having had an extramarital affair. Marian Van Landingham
Marian A. Van Landingham (born September 10, 1937) is American community leader, politician and artist. She served in the Virginia House of Delegates for 24 years and spearheaded the transformation of a decrepit former military storage building into the Torpedo Factory Art Center, in Alexandria, Virginia. In 2006 she was designated a Women's History Month Honoree by the National Women's History Project. Personal life Marian Van Landingham was born in Albany, Georgia and graduated from Druid Hills High School in Atlanta in 1955. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in political science at Emory University. Eagle Scout
Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Since its inception in 1911, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process. The Eagle Scout rank has been earned by over 2.5 million youth. Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges. The Eagle Scout must demonstrate Scout Spirit, an ideal attitude based upon the Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. Eagle Scouts are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes the accomplishments of the Scout. Kenneth Robert "Rob" Krupicka, Jr. (born February 18, 1971) is an American politician. A Democrat, he served on the Alexandria, Virginia city council from 2003–2012, the Virginia State Board of Education from 2009–2012 and, in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2012 to 2016. Early life Krupicka was born in Thousand Oaks, California on February 18, 1971. The Virginia House of Delegates is one of the two parts of the Virginia General Assembly, the other being the Senate of Virginia. It has 100 members elected for terms of two years; unlike most states, these elections take place during odd-numbered years.
