David Harte (Gaelic Footballer)
David Harte (born 23 December 1981) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for the Errigal Ciarán club and for the Tyrone county team. He was a member of the All-Ireland winning side of 2005 and also of the All-Ireland winning team of 2008. Harte plays his club football with Errigal Ciarán and has won two Tyrone Senior Football Championships and the Ulster Senior Football Championship with them. He is one of the attack-minded defenders on the Tyrone panel, such as Ryan McMenamin. He is the nephew of Mickey Harte, who was Tyrone manager during his playing days. The Tyrone county football team () represents Tyrone GAA, the County board (Gaelic games), county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association, in the Gaelic games, Gaelic sport of Gaelic football, football. Ryan McMenamin
Ryan 'Ricey' McMenamin is a Canadian-born Irish Gaelic football manager and former player who formerly managed the Fermanagh county team. He played for the Tyrone county team, winning three All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medals, two Ulster Championships and two National League titles. Forging a reputation for being a bit of a bad boy during his career, he was awarded an All Star for his performances in 2005. McMenamin played his club football for St Dympna's Dromore and won two Tyrone Senior Football Championships with the club. Despite normally starting at corner back for his county, he was not a traditional corner back, often running with the ball up the pitch, and getting himself into scoring positions. Mickey Harte
Mickey Harte (born 1952) is an Irish Gaelic football Manager (Gaelic games), manager and former player. He has been manager of the Louth county football team, Louth county team since 2020. Harte managed the Tyrone county football team, Tyrone county team from 2002 until his resignation in 2020, at which time he was the longest-serving manager then active with the same team in inter-county competition. The Ulster Senior Football Championship is an inter-county competition for Gaelic football teams in the province of Ulster. It is organised by the Ulster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and begins in early May. The final is usually played on the third Sunday in July. All nine Ulster counties participate. It is regarded as hardest to win of the four provincial football championships. Errigal Ciarán GAC is a Gaelic Athletic Association Gaelic football club in southern County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It represents the parish of the same name, which incorporates the village of Ballygawley, County Tyrone, Ballygawley and its surrounding area. The Tyrone Senior Football Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the LCC Group ''Tyrone Senior Football Championship'') is an annual Gaelic football competition contested by top-tier Tyrone GAA clubs.
