David Hanssen
David Antonius Hanssen (born 13 November 1976) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently player-manager at Lommedalen. Hanssen has previously played for Lillehammer FK, Faaberg, Stabæk, Strømsgodset, Vålerenga, Start, Hønefoss and Stabæk for a second time. Early life He grew up in Reinøya near Tromsø, then moved to Follebu at the age of nine and Lillehammer three years later. His parents were Pentecostals. Club career David Hanssen played at Stabæk for 4 seasons. He was later purchased by Strømsgodset, later by Vålerenga ahead of the 2002 season. He had a good spell, but injuries to his knee put his career at Vålerenga on hold. After one season in Start, he played five season for Hønefoss. In 2012, Hanssen returned to his former club Stabæk. Hønefoss Ballklubb is a Norwegian football club from Hønefoss, founded in 1895. The club was a part of the multi-sports club L/F Hønefoss, which folded in 2008. After 11 years in 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football, Hønefoss was promoted to Tippeligaen in 2009, where they finished 14th in 2010 Tippeligaen and was relegated after a relegation-playoff against Fredrikstad. In 2011, Hønefoss won the 1. divisjon and was promoted to the Tippeligaen for the second time in three years. Strømsgodset is a former municipality in Vestfold county (from 1964 Buskerud county), Norway, today a part of the city of Drammen. History Strømsgodset was originally a small rural annex to the city parish of Bragernes ( Drammen). But since this annex belonged to the county of Vestfold, while the city belonged to the county of Buskerud, it had to be established as a formannskapsdistrikt of its own January 1, 1838.
