David Gooderson
David Gooderson (born 24 February 1941) is an English actor who has appeared in several television roles. Career As well as portraying Davros, creator of the Daleks in the ''Doctor Who'' serial ''Destiny of the Daleks'', he appeared in episodes of ''Lovejoy'', '' Mapp & Lucia'' and ''A Touch of Frost''. Gooderson was also featured on many radio programmes for the BBC, including '' The Next Programme Follows Almost Immediately'' with Bill Wallis, David Jason, Denise Coffey and Jonathan Cecil and ''Huddwinks'' with Roy Hudd and others. He wrote several plays for stage and radio broadcast, and published several books about Kenneth Grahame. Roy Hudd
Roy Hudd, OBE (16 May 1936 – 15 March 2020) was an English comedian, actor, presenter, radio host, author and authority on the history of music hall entertainment. Early life Hudd was born in Croydon on 16 May 1936 to Evalina "Evie" (née Barham) and Harry Hudd. His father was a carpenter who left the family shortly after the Second World War, and his mother, who had a history of mental health problems, commited suicide by gas when Hudd was 9 years old. Hudd was primarily brought up by his grandmother, and attended Tavistock Secondary Modern School in Croydon and Croydon Secondary Technical School. After completing his national service in the Royal Air Force, he studied commercial art at the Regent Street Polytechnic. He then worked as a messenger for an advertising agency, a window dresser and a commercial artist working under Harry Beck. ''The Bill'' is a British police procedural television series, first broadcast on ITV from 16 August 1983 until 31 August 2010. The programme originated from a one-off drama, '' Woodentop'', broadcast in August 1983. ''Hazell'' is a British television series that ran from 1978–1979, about a fictional private detective named James Hazell. Overview James Hazell was a cockney private detective character created by journalist and novelist Gordon Williams and footballer Terry Venables, who wrote under the joint pseudonym of P.B.Yuill. The first book, ''Hazell Plays Solomon'', appeared in 1974. "Hazell Plays Solomon" was also the first episode of the TV series. The wise-cracking private detective was played by Nicholas Ball.
